Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has registered a growth of 13.21% in its net profit at Rs 1599.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 1412.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 21.43% at Rs 5961.49 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4909.56 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a surge of 21.04% in its net profit after tax at Rs 6026.72 crore as compared to Rs 4979.17 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 19.69% at Rs 21281.18 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 17780.04 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.  

For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 19.19% in its net profit at Rs 6014.56 crore as compared to net profit Rs 5046.25 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 19.46% at Rs 21780.76 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18233.04 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
