Bharat Electronics has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 9.91% in its net profit at Rs 794.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 722.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 9.19% at Rs 3348.50 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3066.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.  

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 16.81% in its net profit at Rs 1357.66 crore as compared to Rs 1162.24 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 6.92% at Rs 7827.3 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7320.6 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015. 

For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 15.86% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest at Rs 1387.13 crore as compared to Rs 1197.20 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 6.35% at Rs 8082.02 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7599.36 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
