Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported a 37% jump in total sales in May 2016 at 48,604 units, as against 35,354 units in the same month last year. During May 2016, the number of motorcycle units exported, increased by 86% to 1,372 units from 739 units in May 2015.

The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 38% at 43,217 units in May 2016 against 31,227 units in the same period year ago, while the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc increased by 31% at 5387 units as against 4,127 units in May last year.
