Asian Paints has informed that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on March 29, 2012, has appointed  K. B. S. Anand - president decorative business unit, as an additional director and managing director & CEO of the company for a period of three years with effect from April 01, 2012.

The term of P. M. Murty, managing director and CEO will expire on March 31, 2012, and consequently, P.M. Murty will cease to be a director on the board of the company.
