Auto major, Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) Farm Equipment Sector (FES) division has maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in FY 2011 - 2012. In the month of March 2012, the total sales stood at 17405 units. Exports for the month registered an impressive growth of 33% at 1485 units.

The company’s domestic sales in FY2011-2012 stood at 221730 units, as against 201785 units during FY2010-2011, having registered a growth of 10%. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in the financial year stood at 235452 units, as against 213653 units for the same period last year. Exports for financial year ended on March 31, 2012 stood at 13722 units, having registered a growth of 16%.
