-15.50 (-3.40%) Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 42.72 million tonnes (MT) in June 2016, as against target of 43.31 MT, a drop by 1.36%. The company’s total off-take for the month of June was down by 5.39% and stood at 44.96 MT as against a target of 47.52 MT.
Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
