National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has been appointed as the implementing agency for three General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) colonies at Sarojini Nagar, Nauroji Nagar and Netaji Nagar.

The Union Cabinet in its meeting held on July 05, 2016 has approved the redevelopment of seven old GPRA Colonies - Sarojini Nagar, Nauroji Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Thyagraj Nagar, Sriniwaspuri and Mohammadpur at Delhi.

NBCC is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
