Cyient has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company has reported a 41.36% fall in its net profit at Rs 41.43 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 70.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income decreased by 14.65% to Rs 320.12 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 375.1 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2.20% fall in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates and Joint Ventures at Rs. 73.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs75.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year . Total Income of the company increased by 11.45% to Rs. 841.2 crore for the quarter under review from Rs. 754.72 crore for the same quarter ended June 30, 2015.
