Axis Bank, a private sector lender has opened an ‘all women branch’ in Kolkata. The branch, inaugurated on July 15, has come up in a posh south Kolkata locality (Lake Gardens). It will offer regular banking and financial transaction services. With this new branch, the bank now has 118 branches in the city and 219 in the State.
