Bajaj Finance strengthens on reporting 54% jump in Q1 net profit

Bajaj Finance is currently trading at Rs. 9315.15, up by 336.85 points or 3.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 8978.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9011.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9385.00 and Rs. 8900.00 respectively. So far 43,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9385.00 on 26-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4678.00 on 23-Sep-2015.

The company has reported 53.83% rise in its net profit at Rs 423.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 275.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.97% to Rs 2301.06 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1655.84 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
