UltraTech Cement advances on securing 47,300 tons of coal from Dipka Mines

UltraTech Cement is currently trading at Rs. 3722.95, up by 38.60 points or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 3684.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3679.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3737.00 and Rs. 3679.00 respectively. So far 4,504 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3737.00 on 29-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2581.15 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3737.00 and Rs. 3613.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,02,145.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.92% and 10.55% respectively.

UltraTech Cement has participated in the auction of coal linkages for captive power plant sub-sector and won the following linkages from Dipka Mines (SCDG) in the state of Chhattisgarh. The company has secured 47,300 tons at a premium of Rs 150 over notified price of Rs 970 per ton.

The company intends to participate in the future linkage auctions for its plants located strategically near the coal mines.
