Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported a 31% jump in total sales in July 2016 at 53,378 units, as against 40,760 units in the same month last year. During July 2016, the number of motorcycle units exported, increased by 40% to 1,250 units from 893 units in July 2015.

The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 31% at 47,651 units in July 2016 against 36,434 units in the same period year ago, while the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc increased by 32% at 5,727 units as against 4,326 units in July last year.
