M&M spurts on reporting 14% growth in July sales

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs 1472.95, up by 6.05 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs 1466.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1468.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1493.50 and Rs 1467.10 respectively. So far 65488 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1493.50 on 1-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1092.00 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1,493.50 and Rs. 1435.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 91517.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.73% and 13.65% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has reported its auto sales numbers for the month of July 2016, which stood at 39,458 units as against 34,652 units during July 2015, representing a growth of 14%. The company’s domestic sales stood at 35,305 units during July 2016, as against 31,087 units during July 2015. The company’s exports for July 2016 stood at 4153 units, as compared to 3565 units in July 2015.
