Gujarat Industries Power marginally gains on the bourses

 Gujarat Industries Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 89.70, up by 0.15 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 89.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 90.75 and Rs. 89.05 respectively. So far 3786 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 99.00 on 13-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.50 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 92.25 and Rs. 89.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1355.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.5% and 15.24% respectively. 

Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) has cancelled the Letter of Intent (Lol) issued to Leitwind Shriram Manufacturing (LSML), Chennai, the EPC Contractor, for setting up 24 MW Wind based Power Project at Village Jambarwada, Taluka Babra, Amreli district in state of Gujarat.

Gujarat Industries Power Company is an India-based company, which is engaged in electrical power generation. The company operates the mines, Vastan Lignite Mine and Mangrol-Valia Lignite Mine.
