TVS Motor commences manufacturing products for BMW

TVS Motor Company has commenced production of two-wheelers for BMW at its Hosur facility. German auto major BMW and Indian two-wheeler major TVS are planning to use common platform and service outlets for the upcoming motorcycles.

BMW Motorrad unveiled its first 300cc motorcycle, the G 310 R in October in association with TVS Motor. TVS is also gearing up for the 200cc version of Apache. It was reported that the BMW Motorrad had a pivotal role in shaping the Apache 200.

TVS Motor Company is engaged in manufacturing of two-wheeler vehicles. Its products include automobile component, components distribution, powered two-wheelers, computer peripherals, financial services, contract manufacturing services and software development.
