-15.50 (-3.40%) Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 36.74 million tonnes in July 2016, as against target of 40.29 million tonnes. The company’s total off-take for the month of July stood at 41.47 million tonnes as against a target of 46.57 million tonnes.
Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
