Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 2.59% rise in its production to 136,761 units in July 2016 as compared to 133,311 units in July 2015. Of total, the company manufactured 37,303 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, Wagon R) in July 2016, as against 48,729 units manufactured in corresponding month previous year. The company manufactured 56,383 vehicles under Compact segment; 9,553 vehicles under Super Compact and Midsize; 18,754 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 14,637 units under Vans category. The company has also produced 131 vehicles under CV segment (including super carry) in July 2016.

Maruti Suzuki is an India-based company engaged in the manufacture, purchase and sale of motor vehicles, components and spare parts (automobiles). The company had registered a rise of 12.7% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of July 2016 at 137,116 units, as against 121,712 units in July 2015.
