Carborundum Universal to set up a hydel power plant in Kerala

Carborundum Universal has decided to invest Rs 125 crore to set up a 21 MW Hydel Power Plant at Keerithodu, Idukki district in Kerala. In this regard, the company has received its board's approval at the meeting held on August 03, 2016.

Carborundum Universal, popularly known as CUMI, is engaged in manufacturing of coated and bonded abrasives, super refractories, electrominerals, industrial ceramics and ceramic fibres in India.
