Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices ruled steady on Wednesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 144 per kg and Rs 141.50 per kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery improved marginally to Rs 142.77 compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.60, while September delivery closed at Rs 136.62 compared to its previous close of Rs 136.17 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
