PVR opens a new six-screen multiplex in Palava: Report

PVR, one of the top multiplex operators in the country, has reportedly opened its newest multiplex at Xperia Mall, Palava. The property is spread across an area of 35,000 sq ft and can accommodate up to 1,178 patrons at a time. The property boasts of 7.1 Digital Dolby surround sound along with, 2K & 4K projection system and Next Generation 3D. The last row of all the auditoriums has recliners seats for comfortable seating. With this new multiplex, the company’s screen count in Maharashtra reaches to 147 screens across 35 properties.

PVR is the largest and the most premium film and retail entertainment company in India. The company is engaged in the business of film exhibition. The company operates other business such as providing content, film distribution and Entertainment Park through its subsidiaries. Currently, the company has achieved the status of being India’s largest cinema chain.
