Bharat Electronics has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company has reported a fall of 52.94% in its net profit at Rs 36.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 76.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 18.10% to Rs 1010.17 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1233.44 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Bharat Electronics is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
