Physical Rubber prices displayed mostly a weaker trend on Friday

Physical rubber prices showed mostly a weaker trend on Friday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 144 per kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to 141.00/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 141.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery improved to Rs 143.99 compared to its previous closing at Rs 142.94, while September delivery closed at Rs 137.52 compared to its previous closing of Rs 136.77 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
