BF Utilities reports 86% rise in Q1 net profit

BF Utilities has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company has reported a rise of 85.81% in its net profit at Rs 2.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 1.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 3.57% to Rs 6.38 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 6.16 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

BF Utilities is engaged in power generation through wind mill technology. The company was set up to satiate the power requirements of the Kalyani Group companies, which have business interests in areas of steel making, forging, machining, etc.
