Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) - wholly owned subsidiary - L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with GE, for manufacturing subsea manifolds for deep water projects in the Krishna-Godavari basin. With this MoU, India has entered into manufacturing of subsea equipment - contributing to the country’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The manufacturing will take place at L&T’s modular fabrication unit in Tamil Nadu and will have an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes.
