PNB aims to set up 24 hours banking services centres

Punjab National Bank (PNB), country’s public sector lender is in process of setting up an 'E-Lobby' which will have one ATM, cash deposit kiosk, pass book printing terminal, cheque deposit machine and two internet banking terminals. This new service to be rolled out by the bank will help customer who can access select banking services like updating of passbook 24X7.

Initially, the bank will set up E-Lobby in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Ambala. Thereafter more such centres would be set up for the conveniences of customers.

Due to scarcity of time, customers are unable to visit bank branches during office hours. This E-Lobby is basically targeted to those customers to provide them with 24 hours banking services. Now they can visit these E-Lobbies where they can carry out banking transactions at their conveniences.
