Tata Motors delivers 241 new buses to KSRTC

Tata Motors, the country's largest automaker by revenues, has delivered 241 buses to the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).  The buses are equipped with modern Tata Cummins ISB engines, air suspension and multiplex wiring meeting Urban Bus specification II set by the Centre. Further, the GPRS-enabled connectivity permits the buses to be connected with control room for real-time monitoring. They are also enabled for smart-ticketing options. The driver's seat has been designed ergonomically with four-way adjustable mechanism to maintain the health of drivers.
