Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Friday on buyers’ resistance in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety decreased to 137/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 138/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to 132/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 133/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of September delivery increased to Rs 130.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.78, while October delivery closed at Rs 124.55 compared to its previous close of Rs 123.31 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
