Bharat Petroleum Corporation has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company has registered 11.01 % jump in its net profit at Rs 2620.5 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 2360.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.99 % at Rs 57380.65 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 59147.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
