CRISIL reports 24% surge in Q1 net profit

CRISIL has reported results for first quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company has posted a surge of 20.34% in its net profit at Rs 53.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 44.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 29.75% at Rs 187.35 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 144.39 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 23.90% in its net profit at Rs 56.98 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 45.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.Total income has increased by 28.51% at Rs 229.74 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 178.77 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
