FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 16 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2691.00 crore against gross sell of Rs 2519.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 171.70 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 414.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 217.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 196.60 crore in debt.
