Escorts’ Agri Machinery Segment sells 3722 tractors in August 2016

Escorts Agri machinery segment (EAM), a subsidiary of Escorts, has sold 3722 tractors in August 2016 as compared to 2402 tractors sold in August 2015. The company has sold 3,667 tractors in August 2016 in the domestic market showing a 55.7% growth as against 2,355 tractors sold in August 2015. The exports for August 2016 was up by 17% and stood at 55 tractors as against 47 tractors in August 2015.

Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
