-15.50 (-3.40%) Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 32.43 million tonnes in August 2016, as against a target of 40.89 million tonnes. The company’s total off-take for the month of August stood at 36.72 million tones, as against a target of 44.51 million tonnes.
Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
