Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Monday, as major consuming industries continued to remain on sideline. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 126/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to Rs 118/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 119/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of September delivery improved to Rs 126.94 compared to its previous closing of Rs 125.86, while October delivery closed at Rs 116.93 compared to its previous close of Rs 115.75 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
