JSW Steel’s crude steel production in August 2016 grew 27% and stood at 13.52 lakh tonnes (LT) as compared to 10.66 LT in August 2015. The production of rolled products (long) increased to 2.51 LT compared to 2.03 LT in July last year, representing a growth of 24%. The production of rolled products (flat) during the month increased to 9.71 LT as compared to last year’s level of 8.46 LT.
