Tata Motors plans slew of new launches to regain market share: Report

Tata Motors, the country’s top commercial vehicle firm, is reportedly planning a slew of new launches in small and big truck segments in order to regain its market share in the next one year. The company is looking to regain its market share of about 60 percent in the 16-tonne-and-above truck segment that it lost a few quarters ago. The company is also looking to roll out products such as 37-tonne pusher axle and tag axle trucks.

The company has recently launched its new Signa range of Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles, which will be shortly be available across Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The company has launched this new range at its Advanced Trucking Expo - ‘Truck World’, in Chandigarh.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
