Syngene International acquires assets of Strand Life Sciences

Syngene International, Asia’s leading Contract Research Organization, has completed a deal through which it has purchased assets of Strand Life Sciences related to systems biology, Heptox and pharma bioinformatics services. This includes target dossier business and rights to NGS data analytics and Sarchitect platforms, supported by a strong scientific team. This deal gives Syngene access to Strand’s patented Virtual Liver model and the NGS analytics platform.

Syngene International is one of Asia’s largest Contract Research Organizations, offers discovery and development services for novel molecular entities (NMEs) across industrial sectors including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agrochemicals, consumer health, animal health, cosmetic and nutrition.
