Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Friday, as the market regained strength from covering purchases. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 121.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety climbed to 116/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 114/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of October delivery improved to Rs 123.78 compared to its previous closing of Rs 121.54, while November delivery closed at Rs 123.74 compared to its previous close of Rs 121.54 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
