F&O total turnover stood at Rs 2,80,027.67 crore on October 3

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,80,027.67 crore on October 3 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 39,37,919.      

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 17,076.04 crore, Stock Futures Rs 41,855.34 crore and Index Options Rs 2,00,465.61 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 20,630.68   crore.        

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.94, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.01 and that of Stock Options was 0.45.     

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were MRF (8.00), OFSS (2.00), APOLLOHOSP (1.75), ABIRLANUVO (1.58) and M&M (1.35).   

Among most active underlying Reliance Infrastructure witnessed an addition of 0.14 million of Open Interest in the October month futures contract, followed Maruti Suzuki India witnessing an addition of 0.03 million of Open Interest in the October month contract, Reliance Industries witnessed a addition  of 0.78 million of Open Interest in the October month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition  of 3.09 million of Open Interest in the October month contract and Yes Bank witnessed an contraction  of 0.03 million units of Open Interest in the October month's future contract.
