Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Monday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety dropped to Rs 117/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 118/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 112/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 113/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of October delivery fell to Rs 115.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 117.09, while November delivery closed at Rs 115.46 compared to its previous close of Rs 116.99 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
