Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, has added 25.00 lakh mobile subscribers in March. Following the said addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 18.12 crore with a market share of 27.30%. 

Recently, the company had rebranded its B2B business as Airtel Business.  It reinforces its commitment of delivering innovative business solutions and a superior brand experience to all its large and small enterprises, government and carrier customers across the globe through this new identity.

Bharti Airtel posted a fall of 23.37% in its net profit to Rs 1416.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 1847.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income increased by 9.86% to Rs 10523.00 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 9578.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
