With reference to the earlier letter dated July 27, 2016, regarding agreement entered with RPG Life Sciences to divest seven prescription brands in India, owned by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and its subsidiary, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has now informed that the Company has received the approval of the Competition Commission of India and all the necessary formalities for Closure of the said transaction have been completed and the aforesaid transaction has been successfully closed today i.e. October 21, 2016.
