F&O total turnover stood at Rs 3,26,489.81 crore on October 21

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,26,489.81 crore on October 21 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 46,61,668.  

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 12,882.59 crore, Stock Futures Rs 44,725.76 crore and Index Options Rs 2,35,225.66 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 33,655.80 crore.      

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.93, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.01 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.     

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were OFSS (2.00), L&T (1.46), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (1.42), ACC (1.20) and TCS (1.05).   

Among most active underlying Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 0.69 million of Open Interest in the October month futures contract, followed Yes Bank witnessing a contraction of 0.29 million of Open Interest in the October month contract, Biocon witnessed an addition of 0.16 million of Open Interest in the October month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 2.27 million of Open Interest in the October month contract and State Bank of India witnessed a contraction  of 0.80 million units of Open Interest in the October month's future contract.
