Exide Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported 16.92% rise in its net profit at Rs 181.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 155.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 11.13% to Rs 2193.57 crore for Q2FY17 from Rs 1973.82 crore for the corresponding quarter in previous year.
Exide Industries manufactures the widest range of storage batteries in the world from 2.5 Ah to 20,400 Ah capacities, covering the broadest spectrum of applications. It is India’s largest producer of automotive and industrial batteries, with seven manufacturing plants strategically located across the country.
