Bharti Airtel has reportedly rolled out its 4G services in Uttar Pradesh. In the current phase, the 4G services have been launched in 13 towns viz. Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Agra, Aligarh, Bulandshahar, Hapur, Mathura, Modinagar, Muzzafarnagar and Meerut. By November end, the 4G services would be expanded to cover over 200 towns spanning 42 districts in the state.

Under a new 4G offer for Airtel prepaid customers, subscribers could avail of 10 GB 4G data for Rs 249 in UP (West) and Rs 255 in UP (East) with any new 4G handset. Airtel recently launched a new version of MyAirtel App to offer best of music, movies games, LIVE TV, e-books, and chats etc.
