Mphasis has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016. 

The company has reported a rise of 5.24% in its net profit at Rs 153.65 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 146.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.47% at Rs 816.72 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 804.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.  

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 10.44% rise in its net profit after taxes at Rs 210.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 190.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 1.69% to Rs 1588.80 crore for quarter under review from Rs 1616.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
