Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 5.32% rise in its production to 132,980 units in October 2016 as compared to 1,26,251 units in October 2015. Of total, the company manufactured 35,326 units under mini segment (including Alto, Wagon R) in October 2016, as against 43,363 units manufactured in corresponding month of the previous year.

The company manufactured 56801 units under Compact segment, under Super Compact and Midsize segment 9015 units, 18564 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 12998 units under Vans category in October 2016. The company has also produced 276 units under CV segment (including super carry) in October 2016.
