NTPC Ltd.

NTPC, one of the largest power generators in the country, has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odisha government to set up a new state-of-the-art Polytechnic college at Darlipalli, Sundargarh. The company will spend Rs 25 crore for infrastructure development of the polytechnic. The college would offer diploma course in electrical engineering, mining engineering and instrumentation and controls engineering. Each branch would cater to 60 students. The government will take complete charge of the management of the institute after it is established.

NTPC is an Indian central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities.
