Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) arm - Mahindra Powerol in view of increasing its presence in office, retail and household segments has launched the new range of UPS and inverter batteries. This new UPS range will broaden the scope of Mahindra Powerol's business to include the office and retail segments in addition to the household segment.

The higher range of HUPS -2.5kVA, 3.5kVA -will cater to independent houses to power air conditioners, small offices, retail outlets, showrooms, call centers, petrol pumps, medical clinics and restaurants.

The products are currently available in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Bihar and shall be soon launched in the entire country by 2014.
