Fortis Healthcare reports 37% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Fortis Healthcare has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016. 

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 4.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to a net loss of Rs 15.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 11.77% to Rs 208.60 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 186.64 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 37.47% fall in its net profit at Rs 38.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 61.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company has increased by 6.28% to Rs 1233.75 crore for quarter under review from Rs 1160.88 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
