Suzlon Energy reports net profit of Rs 237.62 crore in Q2FY17

Suzlon Energy has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.  

The company has reported over two fold rise in its net profit after tax of Rs 267.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to of Rs 95.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 62.76% to Rs 2059.87 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1265.62 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net profit at Rs 237.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to net loss of Rs 201.66 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company has increased by 56.40% to Rs 2769.46 crore for quarter under review from Rs 1770.71 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
